started on them because they shared a PTU scrap kit??

Here is the TRUTH.
NONE of these designers, Tube Pimps, etc. will EVER
take you to court. PERIOD.
Why?
Well, for one, it cost ALOT of money.
Not to mention to time.
And for another, because they are not registered.
Big film companies, music production agencies, YES!
They have the money, the time, the resources to go and register their
movie, screenplay, book, song, etc.
But artist? Stay at home moms?
Nope. Not even close.
I am all for giving artist credit. And supporting an artist that you enjoy.
I am not at all saying DONT BUY.
But fuck them. Who are they to say you can't do something with what YOU PAID FOR???
If I buy a coat at walmart, I sure as hell can give it to someone else.
I CAN NOT however, rip the designer tag off and slap mine on there and
Call it mine and start selling it as my own.
But do you do that has a tagger? Nope.
You create.
And believe me, if it wasn't for all you taggers out there, these artists would not be selling shit.
Half of these people wouldn't even be known.
They'd be trying to sell t-shirts at the state fair.
Now...
I have read the letter from a certain tube company, explaining that these artists
will pack up ship and not offer their artwork as tubes, etc. etc.
As if the artist are doing YOU a favor.
How stupid do they REALLY think we are???
Let them go elsewhere. They won't be receiving any royalty check.
And a check is better then no check.
We have all heard of "starving artists".
And if they pull their work, they won't be receiving the money.
They won't be receiving the free advertisement to their web sites.
So go ahead. Pull your work.
Go back to whatever existence it was you had before you signed up with a pimp company.
Taggers will share other tubes. Other scrap kits.
No one will sue you. Period.
The value of the tube or scrap kit is not worth the money
they would lose taking you to court.
You are not making any money.
You are not claiming it as your own.
If it was SOOO easy for them to do, then why in the heck didn't they do already?
Because trust me, they haven't.
So until you receive a court date in the mail, continue to share.
Continue to do what you love.
These bully companies and designers can't do shit. And they know it.
Otherwise they would have by now.
